Title: Habitat's 2023 National Day of Service - Doing More Together

On May 11, the Habitat team gathered in 4 separate states to donate our time as part of our #NationalDayofService!

Habitat's National Day of Service is our flagship day of giving back. All team members, from our leadership to our property team members, unite under our mantra of #DoingMoreTogether. As stewards of all our communities, we partner with organizations that allow us to have the greatest impact on communities.

In collaboration across Chicago, St. Louis, Michigan, and Minnesota, our teams packaged 23,761 pounds of food, which is equivalent to 19,577 meals! Our teams haven't had the opportunity to gather together for our National Day of Service since 2019, and it was such a welcome return to service and volunteerism!

Our Chicago teams volunteered their time at the Greater Chicago Food Depository, St. Louis teams at the St. Louis Area Foodbank, Michigan teams at the Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan, and our Minnesota team at The Open Door Food Pantry.
